Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University of Calgary
I am from Brazil, but currently I am living in Calgary (AB, Canada), where I am working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Calgary. My research is about sketch based modeling techniques applied to oil and gas industry. I am graduated in computer science and graphic design. At that time, I worked with computer graphics for games and for scientific visualization. I have a Master's and PhD degrees in computational modeling at the National Laboratory for Scientific Computing, in a project about lattice-based methods for fluid simulation for animation. From 2009 to 2018 I worked as a professor, teaching computer graphics at the Faculty of Technical Education of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
2001 : Technical Education in Computing CEFET (Campos/RJ) – Brazil
2006 : Bachelor degree in Computer Science UCAM (Campos/RJ) – Brazil
2007 : Graduate in Graphic Design CEFET (Campos/RJ) – Brazil
2009 : Master's in Computational Modelling LNCC (Petropolis/RJ) – Brazil (dissertation)
2016 : PhD in Computational Modelling LNCC (Petropolis/RJ) – Brazil (thesis)
Places I've been
One thing that I love about my work is the chance to travel. Here are some pictures of the places I've been so far. Places that I lived in, places that I went to attend conferences, places that I had the chance to know even for few hours! And as a nature lover you will find several photos of trees, flowers, lakes and mountains! Enjoy!
